July 2007
Hello everyone. It’s been a while since my last post. Most of you are probably enjoying your summer break now that schools on traditional calendars are off, and some of you have just started a new school year. In any case, I hope all is well with you.
In this post, I want to share with you some resources I came across that might be of use to you and to let you know what my goals are for the 2007 – 2008 school year.
GOALS
This year, I will be working with the Instructional Support Staff at our Local District office in developing different media formats to communicate with schools, teachers and possibly students. We will be collaborating in the development of videos, podcasts and blogs in most content areas. Our goal is to have these resources on our Local District Website so that schools can access this content at any time. This is going to be labor intensive and is going to require a lot of planning and time to get it up and running. We are excited about this and can’t wait to get started.
I will also continue to visit schools and provide assistance in the form of Professional Development (PD). If your school is interested in a technology PD, contact me to schedule a time. This link will give you a description of the classes available. Technology PD Classes
